NOTE ON CHOCOLATE (Disclaimer)
When chocolate changes colour (let’s say white’ it is called ‘Bloomed/Blooming’. This happens when the chocolate is exposed to extreme temperature changes, or it was stored in a facility where it was exposed to temperature changes.
Once blooming occurs even on a small spot of the chocolate it can spread to the rest of it. Minimal blooming does normally not affect the taste of the chocolate. The most common occurrence is someone puts chocolate they bought in the fridge. We therefore ask that you keep your chocolate in a regulated area where the temperature is constant, that way ‘Blooming’ will not occur. The perfect storage temperatures +/- 19 degrees.
Marula Berry Trading cannot be held accountable for chocolates in transit, although we do advise the couriers accordingly.
